Jon Holiday Exits Dial Global to Open Consultancy

After nearly 15 years of combined service with Jones Radio Networks (now Dial Global) Senior Director of Programming, Jon Holiday has left the building. He's leaving to set up his own consultancy after Dial Global has made the decision to not pursue new consulting clients to focus on their syndicated formats. His first stations are Dial Global consulting clients that he is already working with.

Holiday said, "Last month marked 15 years with the combined companies. It's been a great experience working with stations in small to medium markets. Although I've consulted stations in a number of various sized markets over the last decade or so; small to medium sized markets will now be my focus."

Holiday joined Jones in 1994 as PD of "Good Time Oldies." He was promoted to Director of Programming in 1999 and Senior Director of Programming in 2004. In addition to overseeing 9 non-country formats; Promotions and Production, he became PD of Hot AC in 2003.

Prior to his 15 years with Jones and Dial Global, Holiday programmed and/or was on-air at WBOS-FM/Boston, WQAM-AM/Miami, WUSA-FM/Tampa and WTIC-FM/Hartford.
