According to a proxy report filed on Friday, CBS Corp. CEO Leslie Moonves' overall compensation, including stock and option awards, for 2008 was valued at about $32 million. That's down from the reported $36.8 million in 2007. His salary and bonus totaled $13 million, also down from $23.8 million a year earlier.
Moonves' base pay tumbled to $3.5 million from $5.3 million in 2007. His bonus shrank to $9.5 million in 2008 after the company's stock took a nose dive and lost 70% of its value last year. Moonves has said that he will not take a pay raise this year.
