Dial Global Names Tim Maranville SVP/Programming

Dial Global appoints Tim Maranville as Senior Director/Programming. He succeeds Steve Young, who died last December. Maranville will be based in the company's Seattle office beginning May 18. Previously, he served as Denver Radio's KTNI-FM and KSYY-FM as Director/Operations & Programming. Maranville is also a former VP/Programming for CBS Radio's oldies formats and PD at KZON-FM/Phoenix.

"I am excited to join Dial Global," said Maranville. "I didn't know Steve Young until I visited the building. He left his mark on the hearts and minds of everyone and I am honored to be chosen as his successor in Seattle. I look forward to helping Beau Phillips realize his vision for Dial Global as the radio industry's total solutions provider."

In related news, 13-year company (JRN/Dial) vet Kristopher Jones is boosted to Director of Programming. "I'm fortunate to have worked with some of the best professionals in radio at Dial Global including Steve Young, Beau Phillips and now Tim Maranville," said Jones. "But none better than the team I work with every day."
