Tony Renda Jr. resigns as General Manager for Renda Broadcasting's cluster in Fort Myers to focus entirely on Velocity Radio Management. He leaves the company after 12 years in the family's business. VRM, a management company that runs radio stations using what Renda calls "proven operation methods," was launched in April.
"In less than 1 month, Velocity has acquired clients and installed our systems & structure at radio stations that want to stay competitive in this business environment." said Renda. "We're off and running."
During his time with Renda Broadcasting, he served as GM of Nostalgia WJAS-AM, News/Talk WPTT-AM and AC WSHH-FM/Pittsburgh. Before that, Renda was GM of co-owned WEJZ-FM and WWRR-FM/Jacksonville, FL.
