WAY-FM, World Vision Renew Ministry Partnership

Christian radio broadcaster WAY-FM has renewed its partnership with World Vision for another year. The deal covers joint ministry efforts whereby the two organizations will continue to share various marketing opportunities and strategies, including a national concert tour.

The tour will run in the early winter of 2010 and will visit ten to twelve of the markets WAY-FM serves. It also includes WAY-FM air personalities visiting the field work World Vision does in international settings. This wil gives them a unique perspective, WAY-FM says, when discussing child sponsorships during focused on-air fund-raising events.

World Vision President Rich Stearns commented, "We are thrilled to continue this unprecedented ministry partnership. WAY-FM is a strong Christian voice serving the communities in which they broadcast and World Vision is honored to serve with them in this important Kingdom work."

"The overall relationship between World Vision and WAY-FM has been outstanding. Our listeners have enjoyed getting to know the ministry and heart of both staff members and artists associated with World Vision. The joint tour we did last winter was a huge success and I really look forward to another year of working together." noted WAY-FM COO Lloyd Parker.
