Bonneville/Cincinnati Launches 80's ''Rewind 94.9''


Bonneville/Cincinnati moves Country WYGY-FM (94.9 The Wolf) up the dial to 97.3 replacing Alternative WSWD-FM (97.3 The Sound), which relocates to 94.9's HD-2 channel. At The Wolf's former frequency, the company launches 80s-based AC "Rewind 94.9" featuring artists such as Bryan Adams, Billy Joel, Prince, Madonna and KC & the Sunshine Band.

"Rewind 94.9 promises to play fun music that Cincinnati hasn't heard in years," commented Bonneville/Cincinnati VP/Market Manager Jim Bryant. "These are big hits that'll have the entire office dancing... or at least in their heads!"
