Clear Channel Expands Roles of Davis, Hunnicutt


Clear Channel Radio is expanding the roles of Senior VP/P's Darren Davis (pictured far left) and Clay Hunnicutt. As Senior VP of Premium Choice, Davis will be responsible for all aspects of the service along with working with its stations, talent, programming management, and others to produce and distribute content under the new programming offering.

In addition to his role as Senior VP/Programming in the East Major region, Clay Hunnicutt will take on the responsibility of the new role of Community Engagement Director, overseeing stations' community engagement efforts. He will work with stations, SVP/Ps, Lisa Dollinger and others to maximize its collective work. Hunnicutt's focus will be to insure the Community Engagement initiative in every market is "robust, successful and sustained."

"Congratulations to both Darren and Clay as they move forward as key resources for all of our stations in providing the very best in radio programming and services to our listeners and communities," said CCR President/CEO John Hoagan in an internal memo. "We will begin a search immediately to fill Darren's role as SVP/P for Kopelman Mid Major region to replace Darren."
