Lee Davis Returns to CBS Radio/New York as GSM

Lee Davis is appointed General Sales Manager of all News WINS-AM/New York, effective July 8. Davis has a long tenure with CBS Radio, having worked at co-owned Sports WFAN-AM for a number of years in roles including GSM and VP/General Manager. Previously, he served as VP/GM of Cox Radio's cluster in Southern Connecticut.

Of the appointment, Senior VP/Director of Sales Jennifer Donohue said, "Lee has worked as both General Sales Manager and Vice President and General Manager at CBS Radio's own sports stalwart, WFAN, so his transition to developing the sales strategy for 1010 WINS, the best news station in the country, should be seamless. Lee's stellar performance has always been evident in the numbers he's delivered- he was instrumental in WFAN becoming the highest grossing radio station in the nation."

Davis first joined WFAN in 1990 as an Account Executive, before being promoted to Local Sales Manager and then GSM. In 1998, he was promoted to VP/GM of WFAN. Concurrently, from 2003-2005 while he was at WFAN, Davis also served as the chairman of the Sports for Youth Foundation.
