Cumulus Media Partners flips WRWM-FM (Warm 93.9)/Indianapolis to CHR as "i94," jettisoning its 18-month-old Soft AC format and the "Warm" moniker. The station is currently airing 940 songs in a row and becomes the third CHR variation in the market, which includes Radio One's WNOU-FM (Radio Now 100.9) and Rhythmic CHR WHHH-FM and Hot AC WZPL-FM.
Cumulus Market Manager Chris Wheat told the Indianapolis Star that two staff members lost jobs in the transition, and one hire has been made in connection with the new format.
