Salvadore Exits Cumulus/San Francisco as SVP/MM

Cumulus Media Partners/San Francisco Senior VP/Market Manager Tony Salvadore is out in a cost-cutting move. Salvadore had been with cluster-mate Sports KNBR-AM for over 20 years. In recent years as Market Manager, he also oversaw KFOG-FM, KSAN-FM (The Bone) and KTCT-AM. KNBR Program Director Lee Hammer is named interim GM.
Group VP/Director of Sales Peter Schwartz is a likely candidate for the Market Manager position reports San Francisco Chronicle's Rich Lieberman. He joined the company in June, 2008 from CBS Radio/San Diego where he was GSM, then VP/GM of AC KYXY-FM and Hot AC KCSF-FM for eight years.
