MEC Network Automates Blazin' 98.9/San Diego

On Monday, Rhythmic CHR XHMORE-FM (Blazin' 98.9)/San Diego (licensed to Tijuana) ousted its entire programming, promotions and air staff. On Tuesday came word that MEC Network would automate the station's "Blazin' Hip Hop and More" format on a 24/7 basis. The changes are effective September 1.
Out are Assistant PD/morning host Chris Loos, MD/afternooner Vanya, Promotions Manager Jeanice Lee and production talents Chris Morrison and Noah Alaya. OM/Brand Manager Lee Cornell will remain with the company in another capacity for now.
