Veteran Radio Programmer Dean Hallam Dies at 55

Sad to report that veteran radio programmer Dene Hallam died Saturday at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta of an undisclosed illness. He was 55. Hallam spent the past two years with the Moby In The Morning Network. Before joining Moby in 2007, he programmed Country WDAF-FM/Kansas City, WKHX-FM and WYAY-FM/Atlanta, KYCY-FM/San Francisco and KKBQ-FM/Houston.
Hallem, a previous Billboard Radio Award winner in two different formats, leaves behind two daughters.
