Rick Dees Joins TKO Radio's Classic Top 40 Lineup


TKO Radio Network (TKO) inks Rick Dees to join its lineup of air talent. Dees will be replacing Charlie Tuna with a specialty weekend offering of his "Weekly Top 40" show featuring Classic Top 40 hits of the eighties.

Rick Dees says, "We're excited about the partnership with TKO and the opportunity to add even more listeners and fun to the weekend with my Weekly Top 40, 80's Edition."

TKO's Susan Thompson added, "This is a perfect match. The Dees name is synonymous with top 40 radio and we play only the best of the Classic Top 40 hits of the 60s, 70s and 80s. We are thrilled to add Rick Dees, household name and proven ratings giant, into our powerhouse-personality lineup."
