Longport Teams with WIP-FM for ''WIP at the Beach''

Longport Media partners with Sports WIP-AM (SportsRadio 94)/Philadelphia for the launch of Longport Media's simulcast on 1490 AM in Atlantic City as "WIP at the Beach." The station will launch on September 23 at 5:30am with morning personality Angelo Cataldi and the morning team with Rhea Hughes and Al Morganti.

The station will carry SportsRadio 94's sports talk line-up 24/7 including shows with Eagles Head Coach Andy Reid, Phillies Manager Charlie Manuel and the recently announced Chickie's and Pete's Player's Lounge featuring Michael Vick.

"From the beginning, we've been firmly committed to bringing the best live and local programming to the market," said Longport Media President Dave Coskey. "For our listeners in South Jersey, when it comes to sports talk, we believe that Philadelphia sports are what our listeners are most interested in. And over the years, no one has done it better than WIP."

"The Jersey Shore has long been a destination for Philadelphians," said Senior VP/Market Manager Marc Rayfield. "With the addition of AM1490 we'll reach even more Philadelphia sports fans on a regular basis."
