KFSZ/Flagstaff Flips To Hits 106


After several years of The Best Hits of the 90s, 2K and Today, Great Circle Radio's KFSZ-FM/Flagstaff flips to Hits 106 "to really hone in with our key adult 18-34 audiences" according to the official press release. The Hits 106 format is defined as Top 40 Mainstream with a concentration on the most recent top 40 hits on the charts. This upbeat, hip station will feature artists like Maroon 5, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, Flo Rida, Pitbull and many more top 40 artists.

This weekend KFSZ will turn to all music, all the best hits, all weekend long; and then present Hits 106 Monday morning at 5a. Johnjay and Rich from KISS 104.7/Phoenix will be syndicated for mornings. Afternoons will continue to be hosted by Cody Dugan from 2-7 and Jay Allen who was holding down mornings after Jenny Woodcock left will move to mid-days from 10-2p.

Great Circle Radio General Manager Steve Hoshor said, "I have been so fortunate to work with Johnjay & Rich and their team since 2006. I can't express how excited we are to have them as our morning team on Hits 106. Hits 106 will fast become the number one station for the young adults of Northern Arizona."
