Cumulus Media Networks has announced that more than 200 stations will carry Michael Savage's "The Savage Nation" when the show moves from evenings to the 3p-6p ET timeslot beginning January 1. The Savage Nation is taking over the timeslot where Sean Hannity formerly was heard, including WABC-AM/New York, WLS-AMA/Chicago, WBAP-AM/Dallas, WMAL-AM/Washington DC, KSFO-AM/San Francisco and WJR-AM/Detroit.
"Just as we anticipated when we announced Mike is moving to drivetime, excitement is building and stations are quickly signing up to make sure they have The Savage Nation available for listeners and advertisers," said Cumulus Executive VP/co-COO John Dickey.
"This is the culmination of two decades in talk radio. I was born for drivetime where my pace matches that of America. Everyone dreams of being on the Cumulus powerhouse signals. This is my dream come true," added Savage.
