Paul Goldsmith to Exit Salem/Chicago for CURE


Paul Goldsmith will exit Salem/Chicago as Director of Promotions and Marketing for WIND-AM (AM 560 The Answer) and WYLL-AM on Friday, May 2. He's heading to CURE International as VP/Marketing beginning May 7. Before joining Salem in April, 2013, he served as Program Director for Air1 beginning in January, 2011, and before that Assistant PD beginning in 2009. He joined Air1 parent EMF Broadcasting in 2003 as the Chicago-based Regional Manager before becoming Director of National Promotions in 2007.

Prior to joining Air 1, Goldsmith handled marketing & promotions at Christian CHR WAYF-FM (WAY-FM)/West Palm Beach.

Goldsmith says that he's worked with CURE on several occasions while serving as Program Director of Air1. In his new post, Goldsmith will have the opportunity to introduce CURE to people and radio stations who want to help cure sick children.

CURE International is a non-profit organization that operates hospitals and programs in 29 countries worldwide where patients experience the life-changing message of God's love for them, receiving surgical treatment regardless of gender, religion, ethnicity or ability to pay. Since the first hospital opened in Kenya in 1998, it has seen over 2.1 million patients, provided over 150,000 life-changing surgeries and trained over 6,600 medical professionals.
