Sarah Fleischer Retiring from Baltimore's 98 Rock

98 Rock/Baltimore is saying goodbye to midday personality Sarah Fleischer - the radio icon affectionately dubbed Baltimore's Queen of Rock. After 38 years with the station Fleischer is hanging up the headphones and retiring. The station is throwing a goodbye party called "All Hail the Queen Party" and listeners are invited. Justin, Scott & Spiegel, hosts of The 98 Rock Morning Show, will emcee the event filled with fun and games, tributes, memories and musical performances celebrating Fleischer's career.
The free, 21 and older event, will provide the community an opportunity to honor Fleischer before she retires and attendees can share a hug and a photo with Sarah at the photo booth, or help support Sarah's favorite non-profit, TurnAround, Inc., with the purchase of a commemorative T-shirt or vintage Sarah poster. The Baltimore Ravens Cheerleaders and Poe will be on hand along with other special guests. There will also be musical performances by Charm City Devils, The Ravyns, Finger Eleven, Steve Whiteman of KIX, Tom Keifer of Cinderella and a Child's Play reunion! The party gets underway at 6pm with stage activities beginning at 7:30pm.
Fleischer's last day on the air on at 98 Rock will be, Friday, June 5, 2015.
