Michael Czarnecki Named WRKO/Boston OM/APD

Michael Czarnecki is named Operations Manager and Assistant Program Director at WRKO-AM/Boston. He joins the Entercom News/Talk outlet from the PD post at iHeartMedia's WRNX-FM and Assistant PD at co-owned WHYN-AM & FM/Springfield, MA. Czarnecki has also held on-air and production roles in Boston, Hartford and Manchester, NH. The station has been without a PD since the departure of Bill Cooksey in July.

Czarnecki, who began his career in 2001, calls the move a career dream. "I am so thrilled at this incredible opportunity," he remarked. "WRKO is a legendary Boston station with such a rich history. I see nothing but great things for the future, and I am so honored and excited to help lead its astonishingly talented team into it."
