John Peake KOST-KBIG/Los Angeles Program Director


iHeartMedia appoints 25-year industry vet John Peake as Program Director of AC KOST-FM and and Hot AC KBIG-FM (104.3 MYfm) in Los Angeles, effective immediately. Previously, he served as Regional Senior VP/Programming for the company's co-owned clusters in San Diego and Riverside, where he managed multiple formats including Hot AC, Classic Rock, CHR, Rhythmic, News/Talk and Sports. Before that, Peake was the Operations Manager for iHeartMedia Seattle and the Show Director for Premiere Networks' "Johnjay & Rich Show."

"John is an amazing talent coach, incredible music head and strong leader who has helped develop some enduring radio brands," said Executive VP/Programming, West Division Andrew Jeffries. "We're thrilled to now have his talent and experience in Los Angeles and we know that KOST 103.5 and 104.3 MYfm will continue their immense success under his leadership."

Prior to joining iHeartMedia in 2009, Peake was a Program Director for stations in Houston and San Francisco. He also worked internationally as the Mission Director for NRJ Radio Group in Paris, France. Peake is a graduate of the University of Maryland.

The company also announced that Michael La Crosse will transition into an advisory role that will include working on key projects in iHeartMedia's West Division.
