Entercom's KSWD-FM (100.3 The Sound) Los Angeles announced a multi-year agreement with veteran radio personality Rita Wilde to continue from 7pm to midnight. She'll also continue to host "Album Side at 11" segment featuring the uninterrupted play of one full classic rock album side at 11pm. Wilde is a Southern California native who began her career at the former KEZY-FM in Anaheim. She joined KLOS-FM Los Angeles in 1983. In 2013, Wilde joined The Sound as the evening air talent.
"Rita relates so well to rock fans because she is one," said 100.3 The Sound PD Dave Beasing. "Rita has seen more Bruce and U2 concerts, among others, than anybody I know."
"Classic Rock fans and artists have been listening to Rita since this music was new," added Entercom Los Angeles VP/GM Peter Burton. "We're proud to have her at The Sound."
"The Sound is the kind of radio I love, so I'm thrilled to be here," added Wilde. "We play the best music ever made and present it with creativity and originality."
Entercom Los Angeles also recently announced multi-year renewals for air personalities Cynthia Fox and Joe Benson on 100.3 The Sound.
