Art Smith Named WLMI (i92.9) Lansing Brand Manager


Midwest Communications Lansing, MI, hires Art Smith as the new Brand Manager for CHR WLMI-FM (i92.9). Smith (aka Artemis) joins WLMI from Townsquare's Hip Hop WRCL-FM (Club 937) Flint, MI. Previously, he spent two and half years with CHR WKHQ-FM Traverse City, MI, as night talent and Promotions Director. Smith's first day on the job is Tuesday, August 8.

Midwest Communications VP/Programming Jeff McCarthy stated, "We are excited to have Art lead our team on i92.9. Art has demonstrated a solid work ethic and strong working knowledge of the contemporary hit format."
