Bob Cox Returns to WTIC/Hartford as Meteorologist

WTIC (NewsTalk 1080) Hartford has announced the return of Bob Cox as the new weekday morning meteorologist effective Monday, October 2. Throughout "The Morning Show with Ray Dunaway," Bob will provide Connecticut listeners with pertinent and up-to-the-minute local weather information they need to start their day.

"Together, Bob, Sam, Steve and AccuWeather will provide important local weather forecasts, without the hype, to WTIC's loyal listeners throughout Connecticut," said Jenneen Lee, WTIC-AM Program Director. "We're thrilled to welcome Bob back to the station and feel great about the dynamic team we have in place."

Bob has worked as a professional meteorologist since 1989,on both television and radio, including a previous stint at WTIC-AM from 1992-2014. He has also counseled private companies and utility services on weather-related issues, and served as a forensic meteorologist and expert witness.
