Cox Media Group Names Babin Regional VP/Radio

Cox Media Group elevates Rob Babin to Regional VP for Radio, overseeing the company's Houston, Long Island, San Antonio and Tampa Radio markets, in addition to Miami. He currently serves as CMG Miami Radio's VP/General Manager. During Babin's 17-year career with CMG, he's held General Sales Manager roles at K92FM Orlando, 97.1 The River Atlanta and WSB-AM. Prior to his current role, Babin was Director of Sales for CMG Atlanta Radio.

"During his career, Rob has been a strong leader for CMG in Orlando, Atlanta and Miami," said Executive VP Bill Hendrich. "He has grown in leadership roles through his ability to hire and develop talented team members, create world-class work environments and deliver results. Under Babin's leadership as VP/GM, CMG Miami Radio launched "Hits 97.3." In addition, the CMG Miami team was awarded two National Association of Broadcasters Marconi Awards and two National Association of Broadcasters Service to America Awards for excellence in community service.
