iHM/Washington DC Names Ty Bailey APD for WMZQ

iHeartMedia names Ty Bailey as Assistant Program Director of Country WMZQ-FM/Washington, DC, effective November 27. Bailey returns to the DC region from WXTB-FM/Tampa, where she most recently served as the Program Director and morning host. Bailey previously worked in middays at co-owned Alternative WWDC-FM (DC101) and prior to that, Assistant PD of WCHH/Baltimore. She began her career at WZNE-FM/Rochester, NY and is a graduate of Ithaca College.

iHM Washington, DC Region Senior VP/Programming Jeff Kapugi said, "I'm very excited to bring Ty Bailey back to Washington. She's a proven programming leader and will fit right in at 98.7 WMZQ."
