Cumulus Media flips all News WYAY-FM (News Radio 106.7)/Atlanta to Talk as "The New Talk 106.7" with the slogan "Where Atlanta Comes to Talk." The station announced its new identity this morning on "The Shannon Burke Show." The weekday lineup includes Burke from 9am-12pm, "The Kimmer Show" from 12-3pm and "The Brian Joyce Show" in afternoon drive from 3-6pm. The station plans to announce a new morning drive program in the next few weeks.

VP/Market Manager Sean Shannon believes the change from News/Talk to all Talk Radio will be a breath of fresh air for Atlantans. He said, "Talk has become the domain of dogma where hosts are advancing an agenda. The New Talk 106.7 will be a place for honest discourse where our hosts have a perspective, not an agenda."

Program Director Tom Lee added, "We are committed to a unique, fearless and spirited dialogue on current events and all issues that impact the lives of our listeners. We'll focus on live, local and relevant topics with strong opinions from some of the nation's greatest Talk Radio hosts."
