iHM's ALT 97.5/Austin Inks Deal with Houston Astros

iHeartMedia Alternative K248CU-FM (ALT 97.5)/Austin announces a broadcast agreement with the Houston Astros, effective immediately. ALT 97.5 will be the official Houston Astros affiliate in Austin and will carry all regular season and post season games for the 2018 Major League Baseball season. The broadcasts will feature play-by-play from announcer Robert Ford and color commentator Steve Sparks.

"The Astros welcome ALT 97.5 and iHeartMedia Austin into our growing radio network," said Houston Astros Senior VP/Marketing and Communications Anita Sehgal. "We are proud to make Astros games available to even more fans throughout Texas, and especially in Austin, as we gear up for the 2018 season."
