Midwest Communications promotes Trent "Moose" Pender to the newly-created post of Rock Format Captain. Pender, who also serves as "Moose" co-owend WCJK-FM (96.3 JACK FM)/Nashville, will work closely with the Midwest Rock brands, including WHBZ/Sheboygan WI, WJXQ/Lansing MI, KRRO/Sioux Falls SD, 98.5 The River/Terre Haute IN, WABX/Evansville IN, WIMZ/Knoxville TN, KQDS/Duluth MN, WZOX/Kalamazoo MI and WOZZ/Wausau WI.

Midwest Communications VP/Programming Jeff McCarthy said, "Moose has earned the right to continue moving the Rock brands forward. We've seen outstanding success with previous projects and look for more of the same from Mr. Pender."

Beyond assisting JACK-FM in Nashville, his previous experience includes assisting the Classic Rock WNRQ.
