Pamal Broadcasting Launches ALT104.9 in Albany NY

Pamal's Albany Broadcasting launches an Albany-based Alternative outlet, flipping Sports WINU-FM (Win 104.9) to "ALT 104.9" with a playlist featuring the latest alternative hits and longtime favorites. The station is celebrating its launch by focusing on the music first by playing 10,000 back-to-back songs 100% commercial free. Listeners can also connect to the station at alt1049albany.com and ALT104.9 on Facebook.

"As a locally owned and operated company, Albany Broadcasting always has its finger on the pulse of what the listeners in the Albany market are seeking and we identified the need for an Albany based new alternative format," said General Manager A.J.
