WBEN/Buffalo Celebrates Sandy Beach's 50-Year Career

Entercom's WBEN-AM/Buffalo is celebrating longtime talk host Sandy Beach and his 50-year radio career. To celebrate his five decades of on-air work, WBEN and Sandy will welcome special guests and members of the local media in studio during his scheduled three-hour talk show, "The Sandy Beach Show," Friday, June 15 from 9am-noon. A reception will be held on-site following the conclusion of the show.

In-studio guests to include syndicated radio personality Joey Reynolds, former radio personality at WKBW (currently WWKB-AM) and member of New York State Broadcasters Hall of Fame Danny Neaverth and former WKBW air talent and member of Buffalo Broadcasters Hall of Fame Stan Roberts.

Beach began his broadcast career in 1968 as an air personality at WKBW in Buffalo and has since held various roles, including Music Director, Program Director, talk host and Buffalo Bills radio game producer. He is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the New York State Broadcasters Hall of Fame and the Buffalo Broadcasters Hall of Fame.
