Beasley Media Group has launched its latest Community of Caring initiative, "Hunger Awareness." The campaign will run across the entire company through December 31. The focus will be to educate listeners about the topic and address a variety of ways individuals can lend a helping hand, ranging from hosting food drives and planting community gardens to assisting individuals and families in need at local food pantries. In addition, the stations will feature articles and videos on their websites, as well as promote specific events they will be doing in the fight against hunger over the coming months.

"The Beasley Best Community of Caring Initiative reflects the heart and soul of what local radio and our company is all about- giving back to the communities we serve," said CEO Caroline Beasley. "It's a privilege to lend a helping hand and shed light on this important topic that impacts so many individuals and families on a daily basis."

Beasley issued a "special thanks" to Benztown for their commitment in creating produced :30 and :60 second spots to support the campaign.
