iHM Names Chuck Peterson Area President for Virginia/Carolina


iHeartMedia has promoted Chuck Peterson to Area President for the Winchester, Harrisonburg and Roanoke-Lynchburg markets, effective immediately. He will report to Dave Carwile, President of iHeartMedia's Virginia/Carolina Region.

"Chuck has been a consistent performer for us in the Virginia markets," said Carwile. "We are excited to elevate Chuck to Area President with the addition of Roanoke- Lynchburg to Chuck's purview. He has a proven track record of leading teams and driving revenue growth through innovative thinking."

Peterson had previously served as Market President for the Winchester and Harrisonburg markets. He began his career at WFTR in Front Royal and is a graduate of American University and William & Mary Law School.
