As "The Jim Bohannon Show" celebrates 26 years on the air, Westwood One has announced a multi-year extension of its partnership with the show and its host, Radio Hall of Famer Jim Bohannon. The program, which airs on more than 250 affiliates and is a mix of topical issues, newsmakers and pop culture. In addition to his weekday broadcast, Bohannon will continue his daily feature, "The Offbeat," a humorous look at something just a bit off the beaten track, and anchor events for Westwood One News.

"I'm honored to be continuing the apex of my career, working with the wonderful professionals at Westwood One," said Bohannon. "As The Jim Bohannon Show approaches the 26-year mark next month, I promise that we'll continue to offer the best in news, analysis, and sometimes, just pure fun every weeknight."

"Jim is the gold standard of a talk show host. I've traveled with him on assignment to Moscow and Tokyo and from New York to California and I continue to learn and laugh listening to him nightly," added Westwood One's EVP/News and Talk Bart Tessler. "The evening wouldn't be the same without the breaking news coverage and perspective from The Jim Bohannon Show."

Suzanne Grimes, EVP, Marketing for Cumulus Media and President, Westwood One, commented, "Jim Bohannon is a legendary broadcaster. To be on the air for 26-years is a tremendous accomplishment and we're thrilled to continue our incredible relationship for many years to come."
