KJLH-FM Los Angeles Appoints Elston Butler as Market Mgr.

KJLH-FM (Radio Free 102.3) Los Angeles appoints broadcast veteran Elston Butler as the new Market Manager of the Urban AC outlet owned by Stevie Wonder's Taxi. Butler previously spent four years with iHeartMedia Riverside where he served as VP/Sales and VP/Sponsorship & Events for the company's Southern California region. The move is a return to KJLH for Butler, who Local Sales Manager from 2010-2014. Karen Slade remains as VP/General Manager.

Butler said, "I'm excited to return to this amazing historic property. KJLH is the voice of the community and I look forward to cultivating all aspects of the radio station. It's going to be an incredible ride for our listeners and the market. I feel like when I was a kid and the street lights came on, my mother has called me home."

Butler has also held management posts in Los Angeles with ABC/Disney, KROQ and All-Pro Broadcasting.
