Shayna Sharpe and AJ Vaughan Join Futuri Media's TopLine Team

Futuri Media has added sales veterans Shayna Sharpe and AJ Vaughan to their TopLine team. TopLine is the sales intelligence platform that provides resources for sales teams in the field at every step in the sales process, from positioning to presenting to closing.

Shayna Sharpe will lead research and develop strategies to evolve TopLine product offerings. She comes from Regional Reps, where she was CEO for the last 5 years. Sharpe has worked in nearly every aspect of the radio industry over the last two decades, including in roles at Arbitron (now Nielsen) and Clear Channel Radio (now iHeartMedia), and is a frequent contributor to several industry associations and publications.

AJ Vaughan has been named Partner Success Manager and will be dedicated to developing station-specific strategies to deliver data-driven insights. Vaughan, who spent more than 10 years at Cox Media Group has held a variety of radio and digital sales management roles, primarily focused on talent and revenue development, and is known as an inspirational and dynamic leader who brings out the best of those with whom he works.

"Anyone who's worked with Shayna and AJ knows how committed they are to delivering results, which is at the core of TopLine's mission. Last year, TopLine helped its users to generate over $100 million in advertising and sponsorship revenue," said Sophie Fry, Futuri's SVP Sales and Director, TopLine. "Shayna and AJ bring a tremendous wealth of experience, talent, and skill to TopLine's leadership team and our clients."

"I've been incredibly passionate about local radio for my entire career, so to lead the research technology and capabilities for TopLine is thrilling," said Sharpe. "I'm excited to work with Daniel Anstandig, Sophie Fry, and the Futuri leadership team to continue to evolve TopLine and get our radio partners their unfair shares in 2019."

"Whenever I've managed teams, I ask them to work smarter, not harder, and there are so many aspects to TopLine that sellers and sales managers can use to close more sales in less time," said Vaughan. "Futuri's TopLine is a service that every station can use to grow revenue today. TopLine is mission critical for every broadcast sales organization with capabilities like sales research presentations, positioning pieces, audience mapping tools, and appointment prep reports to grow their businesses, and I thank Daniel and Sophie for the opportunity."
