Alpha Names Bo Matthews as National Rhythm Format Captain

Alpha Media has announced that Ohio (Dayton, Canton and Akron) Operations Manager Bo Matthews is named Rhythm Format Captain. He'll continue to oversee his respective stations in addition to his expanded role. He was named OM of Alpha Media/Dayton and Content Director of 92.9 Jack FM and 101.5 Hank FM in February, 2018. Before that, Matthews held the position of SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia Cincinnati. Matthews started his radio career in Youngstown, OH, with then, Jacor Communications. He ascended through the programming ranks with Clear Channel and iHeartMedia with stops in Fort Myers, Jacksonville and Cleveland.

Matthews commented, "The first station I ever programmed was a Rhythm station (WBTT/Fort Myers), which was some of the most fun I've ever had in my programming career. I am super excited to be working with our rhythm stations and creating some magic with the many talented people we have. Thanks to Phil Becker for the confidence and continued partnership and collaboration."
