Matthew Malone Named PD of FM 101.9/Orlando

Entercom has named Matthew Malone as Program Director for WQMP FM101.9 Orlando's New Alternative, effective immediately. Prior to joining Entercom, Malone served as Assistant Program Director and Music Director for KCJK-FM in Kansas City.
He has also served as a programming assistant for WLS-FM in Chicago, on-air personality for WLUM-FM in Milwaukee and Assistant Program Director KURQ-FM in San Luis Obispo, CA.
"Matt has an impressive knowledge of the Alternative format and embraces everything about it," said Claudia Menegus, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Entercom Orlando. "His connection to the music and the audience is real and very refreshing. He's a great addition to our team and we can't wait for the future of this great station with Matt's leadership and passion for the brand."
