JD Garfield Resigns as WDJX/Louisville PD/Afternoon Host

JD Garfield has resigned as Program Director and afternoon drive personality at heritage CHR WDJX-FM (99-7 DJX)/Lousiville after 2 years in the post. His last day will be May 31. The 22-year radio vet has spent most of his time in the Midwest and joined Alpha Media from KWYD/Boise, ID in May, 2017. Previously, he served as PD of WJQM in Madison, WI and Operations Manager for KQRA and KOSP in Springfield, MO.
Garfield stated, "I would like to thank Ben Davis and Phil Becker for giving me the amazing opportunity to stand at the helm of one of the premiere Top 40 stations in the country. It truly has been a rewarding experience that I'll never forget. I'd also like to extend a heart-felt thank you to the entire staff of talented and amazing individuals at Alpha Media Louisville."
