TuneIn Launches New Podcast Series ''Pod Club'' for Listeners

TuneIn launches the "Pod Club," a podcast series designed to give listeners a new way to discover favorite shows from some of the most well-known and respected podcasters. While TuneIn says it's been building a strong editorial presence in the podcast space for years, "Pod Club" marks the first time it's opening the floor to the podcasters themselves, providing them with a platform to spotlight their favorite podcasts to TuneIn listeners.

"Pod Club" listeners also benefit as they have the opportunity to learn about new podcasts from trusted sources. While there are other feature programs on TuneIn, "Pod Club" is the first that is centered around exclusive content.

"As podcasts grow in popularity, the value of discovery continues to rise," said TuneIn Director of Marketing Ryan Auffenberg. "Pod Club is unique in that it provides podcasters with the opportunity to showcase their favorite podcasts to fans. And for listeners, what better way to hear about new podcasts than from leaders in the field?"

Pod Club will feature new shows monthly (or bi-monthly, depending on scheduling), starting June 10. Popular podcasters already lined up for the show include:

  • Tobin Low and Kathy Tu, Nancy - WNYC Studios
  • Kara Swisher, Recode Decode - Vox
  • Michelle Buteau and Jordan Carlos, Adulting - WNYC Studios
  • Justin Long, Life is Short with Justin Long - Wondery
  • Adam Grant, WorkLife with Adam Grant - TED
