Westwood One Ups Todd Alan to VP/Affiliate Sales, Hires Bell

Westwood One promotes Todd Alan to VP/Affiliate Sales, Music & Entertainment from Director/Affiliate Sales. In his new role, he'll manage and develop the company's station relationships and distribution partnerships and is based in New York. Alan has spent 16 years at Westwood One, with affiliate sales experience in Entertainment and Talk programming. He also spent two years as VP/Affiliate Sales and Programming for Focus 360. Prior to Westwood One, he served as Director of Affiliate Marketing for Launch Media and Affiliate Sales Manager for OnRadio.

In addition, Westwood One has hired affiliate sales specialist Julie Bell as Director/Affiliate Sales, Music & Entertainment succeeding Alan. Bell comes to Westwood One from United Stations, where she spent 20 years as Regional Director of Affiliate Relations. She also served as National Director, Content & Affiliate Relations at Superadio and as Director of Client Services and Research Manager for Vallie-Richards Consulting. In addition, Bell was Account Executive/Product Manager for Broadcast Investment Analysts (BIA). Earlier in her career, Bell was a Research Director at WBMW-FM in Fairfax, VA.
