WMXD (Mix 92.3)/Detroit Elevates Cheron Sanders to PD


iHeartMedia/Detroit's Urban AC WMXD-FM (Mix 92.3) elevates Cheron Sanders to Program Director, effective immediately. She'll report to WJLB and WMXD Director of Urban Programming Bill Black. Sanders is a media veteran and previously served as Assistant Program Director for iHeartMedia Detroit's WJLB and Mix 92.3. She joined iHM in 2001 and has since held various posts while working for the two Urban outets there, including traffic reporter and midday host. She began her career at Urban WQHH-FM/Lansing, MI.
