iHeartMedia appoints John E. Kage as Program Director of KWBL-FM (106.7 The Bull)/Denver, effective immediately. Additionally, he'll continue his role as Program Director for KPTT-FM (95.7 The Party). Before joining the iHM cluster in Denver, Kage previously served as the Program Director for crosstown Country KYGO-FM and Rhythmic CHR KQKS-FM, as well as WPOI-FM/Tampa. He began his career at CHR KDWB-FM/Minneapolis.

"Kage has mastered the art and science of programming contemporary formats," said iHeartMedia Denver Region Senior VP/Programming JoJo Turnbeaugh. "There's no question that 106.7 The Bull and 95.7 The Party will grow and continue to thrive under John's leadership."

"I am beyond thrilled to make my return to Country music on 106.7 The Bull," added Kage. "Country music has a special community with a unique bond between radio, the artists and the listeners. I missed it dearly and I'm very grateful for being able to be a part of it again. A special thanks to iHeartMedia for giving me the opportunity and I look forward to working alongside the talented team here at 106.7 The Bull and contributing to the station's ongoing success."
