Resort Radio's Classic Hits KCSY-FM (Sunny FM)/Twisp, WA inks a LMA for the operation and on-air programming of KEYG-AM & FM/Grand Coulee, WA beginning July 1. Sunny FM's current format and on-air programming will now be simultaneously heard on 100kW KEYG at 98.5 FM and on their associated translators. This significantly increases Sunny FM's coverage from the Cascades to Spokane and from the Columbia Basin to the Canadian border, serving an eight-county area with a population base of over 275,000.

According to Sunny FM GM/Partner David Herald, "This consolidated broadcast agreement will allow us to combine our sales and programming efforts affording an incredible marketing opportunity for advertisers to reach listeners all over Eastern Washington."

Wheeler Broadcasting's Owner/GM Mark Wheeler added, "We are excited to enter into this agreement with Resort Radio, LLC (Sunny FM). We've been trying to put together a deal for many years to maximize the impact and synergies of our stations, but the timing never worked out. Resort Radio's solid management team: GM/Partner David Herald and his experienced long-time Partners, Kent Phillips and David Bauer have built Sunny FM into a strong Local Brand and the consolidation of our stations will give them even a stronger presence in the market."

KEYG-AM (1490)/Grand Coulee has also launched a new Country Format to serve the local communities of Grand Coulee, Coulee City, Electric City, Wilbur and the Grand Coulee Recreational area. Business Offices for both stations will be located and managed from the Sunny FM business offices, 10 South Mission Street, Wenatchee, WA.
