Uforia Podcast Network to Launch Health & Wellness Podcast

The Uforia Podcast Network, part of Univision's Uforia Audio Network, has announced the launch of "Santo Remedio" (Trusted Home Remedies) a new original podcast focused on health and wellness issues impacting the Hispanic community. Hosted by Univision's Chief Medical Correspondent Dr. Juan Rivera and Uforia Radio personality Monse Medina, the first episode of the new weekly podcast will be available on February 1 on the Uforia App.

"Santo Remedio" will address many of Hispanic community's questions and misconceptions around health and wellness. Each episode will provide manageable yet powerful steps to leading a healthier life, taking listeners through a simple and easy-to-understand journey around today's most pressing health topics. The podcast will also include interviews with medical and health professionals as well as with other experts.

"We are living through a historic public health crisis, and it is more important than ever for all of us to prioritize our health and well-being. Dr. Juan is a board-certified internist and cardiologist who trained at Johns Hopkins University Hospital; he specializes in the prevention, early detection, and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. As Univision's Chief Medical Correspondent, he frequently appears on "Despierta America" and collaborates with Univision News on health-related segments and stories.
