Chelsea Handler to Host "Dear Chelsea" Podcast

iHeartRadio has announced a new original podcast hosted by comedian, best-selling author and television host Chelsea Handler. "Dear Chelsea" episodes will give listeners the opportunity to submit questions about life and get candid answers on the podcast. "Dear Chelsea" will premiere on May 6 with new episodes releasing every Thursday. Listeners can hear the official audio trailer now on iHeartRadio and everywhere podcasts are heard.

Alongside her co-host and long-time assistant, Brandon Marlo, "Dear Chelsea" plays on the idea of "Dear Abby," as Handler and Marlo will help listeners to answer any and all questions going on in their lives. Unlike "Dear Abby'' letters, "Dear Chelsea" episodes will have a hilarious-edge where Handler and Marlo won't shy away from giving their honest and raw opinions on situations to provide listeners with the advice they need to hear. The new podcast will also feature surprise celebrity and expert guest appearances to help weigh in on the listeners' questions.

"iHeartRadio has been a great place for me to share all of my wild, unvarnished thoughts," said Chelsea Handler. "I'm excited to start this journey with ‘Dear Chelsea' to help people figure out what they need in life -- I'm more than happy to be that kick in the pants or shove that will give someone a new perspective on a situation and help them to make a decision."

"Chelsea has been a part of our iHeartPodcast Network family for a few years now and we are thrilled to add ‘Dear Chelsea' to the iHeartPodcast Network," said Will Pearson, COO of the iHeartPodcast Network. "Chelsea's comedic talent is incredible and we believe she will offer listeners great, raw advice to help them find more direction with life's biggest and smallest questions."
