Audacy/Gainesville Ups Rothfuss to SVP/Market Manager

Audacy promotes Peter Rothfuss to Senior Vice President and Market Manager for its Gainesville-Ocala market, effective June 1. In this role, Rothfuss will oversee WKTK-FM (98.5 KTK), Country WRUF-FM (103.7 The Gator), WSKY-FM (97.3 The Sky) and WRUF-AM (98.1 FM/850 AM ESPN). Rothfuss previously served as the market's General Sales Manager since 2016. He succeeds Dick O'Neil, who announced his retirement, effective May 31.

Prior to Gainesville-Ocala, Rothfuss had two stints with Audacy/Wilkes Barre in which he served as an Integrated Marketing Specialist (2014-2016) and Director of Sales (2010-2013). Rothfuss also previously held a Sales Manager position for Townsquare Media (2013-2014), and was the Chief Operating Officer for The Advertising Agency in Winter Park, FL (2004-2009), Account Executive and Local Sales Manager for Post Newsweek's CBS affiliate WKMG in Orlando (2001-2004), Sales Manager for Saber Communications in Williamsport, PA (1995-1995) and Account Executive for Keymarket (1987-1995).
