Audacy Announces Expansion of "BetQL Network"


Audacy has added seven broadcast stations to the "BetQL Network" portfolio. Beginning June 21, the following stations will rebrand as part of the "BetQL Network."

  • Baltimore - The Bet 1300AM (WJZ-AM)
  • Detroit - The Bet 1270AM (WXYT-AM)
  • Houston - The Bet 650AM (KIKK-AM)
  • Kansas City - The Bet 1660AM (KWOD-AM)
  • Las Vegas - The Bet 1140AM (KXST-AM)
  • New Orleans - The Bet 1350AM and 92.9FM (WWWL-AM) (launching June 28)
  • Washington D.C. - The Bet 1580AM (WJFK-AM)

These seven station rebrands are an addition to the previously launched The Bet 1430AM (KEZW-AM) in Denver, The Bet 105.9 FM-HD2 in Chicago and The Bet 93.1 HD3 in Los Angeles. "BetQL Network" programming will also be heard in various times on 560 The Joe WQAM (WQAM-AM) in Miami, The New Sportsradio 910 AM / 105.1 FM The Fan (WRNL-AM/FM) in Richmond and 980 The Team (WTEM-AM) in Washington D.C, which brings the network's presence to 12 total markets nationwide. Future stations will be announced in the coming months as markets legalize sports betting.

In addition to these stations, the company will also plan to distribute the network via affiliate opportunities with additional network providers. Details to be announced in the coming weeks.

"When we launched the ‘BetQL Network' in January, we committed to giving our national audience a home for compelling sports betting content as this new landscape was rapidly growing," said Jeff Sottolano, Executive Vice President of Programming, Audacy. "This expansion is the next step in that goal and we're pleased to bring new and dynamic ‘BetQL Network' programming to nine additional markets and new digital platforms. We are proud to build on our local and national sports audio leadership position with this expanded commitment to production and distribution of entertaining sports betting content to audiences across the country."

The network also unveiled a new weekday programming lineup, which includes "The Daily Tip" with Chelsa Messinger and Michael Jenkins, "BetQL Daily" with Joe Ostrowski and newly added Joe Giglio, "You Better You Bet" with Nick Kostos and Ken Barkley and "BetMGM Tonight" with Quinton Mayo and Ryan Horvat. Local BetQL Network affiliates will also carry CBS Sports Radio content including "The Jim Rome Show," JR Sport Brief and "After Hours with Amy Lawrence." The expanded "BetQL Network" weekday programming lineup is below. Schedules are subject to vary in select markets.

  • 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. ET: "The Daily Tip" with Chelsa Messinger and Michael Jenkins
  • 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. ET: "BetQL Daily" with Joe Ostrowski and Joe Giglio
  • 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. ET: "You Better You Bet" with Nick Kostos and Ken Barkley
  • 7:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. ET: "BetMGM Tonight" with Quinton Mayo and Ryan Horvat
