Summitmedia Omaha Names Sandy Corcoran Promotions Director

SummitMedia has named Sandy Corcoran as promotions director of the Omaha cluster. Corcoran spent 10 years with Entercom where she was the assistant director of marketing and promotions for the Phoenix cluster, including KOOL-FM, KALV-FM, and KMLE-FM. Under Corcoran's leadership, 94.5 KOOL FM was the top revenue-generating station in Entercom's Phoenix cluster for 11 years.

She oversaw community relations, marketing campaigns, and management and promotions for more than 100 station events per year. She also assisted with artist relations for Country Thunder Music Festivals in Arizona, Wisconsin, Iowa, Florida and Canada.

"I'm excited for the opportunity to join SummitMedia and their heritage brands in Omaha," Corcoran said. "Radio and music are my biggest passions. I couldn't be happier to oversee promotions and events for this cluster."

"After an extensive search, Sandy's background in marketing and promotions stood out as the perfect fit," said Rick Parrish, Omaha market president. "Her experience in cluster marketing and developing revenue and ratings marketing campaigns will help us create more value for our advertising partners."

SummitMedia Omaha stations include AM 590 ESPN (KXSP), Channel 94.1(KQCH), Classic Rock 105.9 (KKCD), Star 104.5 (KSRZ) and Z-92 (KEZO).
