Andrea Parikh to Lead NuVoodoo Out-of-Home Media-Trading Unit
RADIO ONLINE | Wednesday, November 3, 2021 |
NuVoodoo has launched an Out-of-Home Media-Trading unit for radio stations and groups to leverage the power of Programmatic Digital Out-of-Home marketing for their stations. Andrea Parikh, a 16-year Clear Channel Outdoor veteran, will head up the new service platform as Digital OOH Product Developer and Team Leader. In her new role, Parikh will help NuVoodoo clients leverage the intersection of mobile, social and digital media with billboards, transit shelters, street furniture and venue signage to reach consumers and in particular, the people most likely to participate in radio ratings.
As Vice President, Product Marketing for Clear Channel Outdoor, Parikh was responsible for local initiatives in over 40 markets across the U.S. and Americas, as well as integrated brand solutions with larger national focus. Prior to that, she was National Director of Local Marketing for Clear Channel Outdoor. Parikh has access to digital OOH inventory that delivers more than 2.3 billion weekly impressions across the US, including 6,000 roadside display units like billboards, street furniture and transit shelters--along with taxi and airport signs and Times Square spectaculars, along with 30,000+ venue-oriented digital signs in gyms, malls, movie theatres and other entertainment venues.
NuVoodoo is presenting a new on-demand webinar for radio professionals that offers a deeper dive into NuVoodoo's October 2021 Quick-Turn study, showing that nearly three-quarters of likely radio ratings participants ages 25-54 pay attention to outdoor advertising, engaging repeatedly as they drive by or walk past billboards and other signs. Leigh Jacobs, EVP, Research Analysis, NuVoodoo Media Services, discusses the complete findings of the study, and shows what is possible with NuVoodoo's data-driven Out-of-Home offering for radio that can help stations find and influence likely ratings respondents. The webinar is available HERE.
Jacobs notes: "Nielsen Audio's latest consumer sentiment research confirms what our own internal Quick-Turn Study tracking tells us -- Americans are working outside the home at an increasing and accelerated rate since the pandemic lows of April 2020. This is a key finding for the radio industry since consumers spend more time with radio when they're in cars heading to work, to drop the kids at school, to shop or to participate in leisure activities."
Carolyn Gilbert, President, NuVoodoo Media Services, said: "We couldn't be happier that the person who led the rollout of digital Out-of-Home, mobile and data products at one of the world's leading Out-of-Home media companies is now available exclusively to NuVoodoo clients in the radio industry. We welcome Andrea to the NuVoodoo team and look forward to doing even more for our clients through her extensive relationships and deep expertise."
"I'm excited to put my experience in programmatic Digital Out-of-Home to work exclusively for NuVoodoo clients in the radio industry," said Parikh. "Digital OOH will play a key role as listeners return to their twice daily commute."
