Veteran Alternative Rock programmer Jon Manley exits Alternative WKQX-FM/Chicago as Assistant Program Director and Music Director. The Chicago native, who joined the Cumulus outlet in September, 2019, was also heard weekdays from 7pm-midnight. Manley was previously Assistant Program Director, Music Director and afternoon talent for then Entercom Alternative KNDD-FM (107.7 The End)/Seattle, WA. Prior to that, he served in the same capacities at Alternative KXTE-FM (X107.5)/Las Vegas.

Manley commented, "Growing up as a kid I listened to WKQX from my bedroom, and during the pandemic I got to program WKQX from my bedroom. I can't think of a better way to end one chapter in my career and start another. The music industry is constantly evolving and I look forward to evolving with it and exploring new opportunities to help expose amazing artists to the masses."
